Oracle's always been a hard place in many ways, but yes. In 2023, Big Tech largely all went this way: layoffs conducted through emails sent you to your personal email address, and you were gone. Badges don't work, Slack access disconnected, email limited. No goodbyes with colleagues.
I always find it fascinating that creating meaningful employment isn't something that business leaders/owners/investors find valuable. What a strange species we are.
